Terms of use / copyright statement
All rights, including copyright, in the content (being text,
pictures, computer code, software, video, music and any other
materials used) within these Acomb Grange web pages are owned
or controlled by Peter & Carol Brown.
In accessing the Acomb Grange web pages, you agree that you may
only download the content for your own personal use.
You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in
any medium), transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change
in any way the content of these Triangle web pages for any other
purpose whatsoever, without the prior written permission of Peter
& Carol Brown.
Extraction of any information (data mining) by automated software
or bots of these Acomb Grange web pages, with the exception of
legitimate and recognised search engines and 'thearchive.org',

Self Catering Accommodation Terms
The terms and conditions upon which persons are permitted to
enter upon the site and The Old Stables are as follows :-
1) If the booking has been effected via Country Cottages or any
other agency, then the terms and conditions of Country Cottages
or that other agency are applicable in addition to the following
terms and conditions and if the following terms and conditions
conflict with those of Country Cottages or that other agency then
those other terms and conditions shall prevail.
2) No tenancy is intended to be created or shall be created as
a consequence of the booking and no booking shall , in any circumstances,
exceed twenty eight days.
3) The Old Stables shall be vacated and left in a neat and tidy
condition, subject to normal conditions of usage, at the expiry
of the booking, or earlier termination if terminated. The rooms
shall be vacated by 10.00 am unless other arrangements have been
made. Keys should be returned upon departure, and a fee may be
charged for any replacement keys required.
4) No persons shall at any time enter upon any part of the land
or site of Acomb Grange , other than those which are clearly designated
on the site map or by signs as for the use of those booking the
Old Stables . Any liability attaching to the proprietor, howsoever
arising, from such unauthorised use of none designated land is
hereby excluded, and any person entering upon such land shall
be held liable for any loss or damage arising as a results of
their actions.
5) Dogs must be kept on leads and dogs and other pets must at
all times be kept under control and in no circumstances shall
they be permitted to enter any land adjacent to the site occupied
by livestock or under growing crops. Owners shall be held liable
for any loss or damage arising from the actions of their pets
6) The proprietor may at any time terminate the booking for any
breach of these terms and conditions and any refund of fees already
paid shall be entirely at the discretion of the proprietor.
7) Cars should be parked only in the spaces designated for guests
of The Old Stables.
8) When the Old Stables are left empty, the premises should always
be locked .
9) All bookings shall be accompanied by a non-returnable deposit
payable to C A Brown for 25%, or if the total fee of the booking
is less than £25 then the deposit shall be half the actual
fee payable.
10) All payments of deposits or booking fees paid in advance
shall be paid over the internet, or by cheque payable to C A Brown,
and payments on arrival shall be either by cash or cheque. Instructions
for online payment will be provided when we contact you to confirm
your booking.
11) The balance of the booking fee shall be payable upon arrival
12) No liability howsoever arising shall attach to the proprietor
from the use of any facilities on the site.
13) The booking shall be governed by the laws of England.
14) Payment must be in cash in English sterling or UK sterling
cheques supported by a banker's card. Other currencies can be
accepted as noted from time to time on the camp notice board.
The statutory rights of the parties as consumers are not altered
or overridden by these terms and conditions.
Caravan and Camping Terms
The terms and conditions upon which persons are permitted to
enter upon the site, or arrange a booking for a caravan , tent
or camper van are as follows :-
1) Any terms and conditions of the Camping and Caravanning Club
Certificate applicable to the site ( which is available for inspection
upon request) and any general rules or regulations of the Camping
and Caravanning Club, or any statutory provisions relating to
such sites must be complied with at all times.
2) No tenancy is intended to be created or shall be created as
a consequence of the booking and no booking shall, in any circumstances,
exceed twenty eight days.
3) The site shall be vacated and left clear of rubbish and in
a neat and tidy condition at the expiry of the booking, or earlier
termination if terminated.
4) No persons shall at any time enter upon any part of the land
or site of Acomb Grange , other than those which are clearly designated
on the site map or by signs as for the use of those booking the
caravan site . Any liability attaching to the proprietor, howsoever
arising, from such unauthorised use of none designated land is
hereby excluded, and any person entering upon such land shall
be held liable for any loss or damage arising as a results of
their actions.

7) The toilet, shower and water facilities available shall at
all times be left neat and tidy and chemical disposal shall only
be permitted in the designated locations and nowhere else.
8) At all times courtesy and consideration shall be shown to
other users of the site and disturbance shall be kept to a minimum.
9) Except in an emergency no repairs or maintenance of vehicles
or caravans shall be undertaken without the permission of the
proprietor, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
10) When bookings have been confirmed by us, we ask for payment in full in advance for each night's stay as per the current tariff to secure a pitch.
11) If payments are not are made within 72 hours of our confirming the booking, we will hold the booking but reserve the right to release the pitch to other visitors if there is no other space available.
12) All payments of booking fees paid in advance shall be paid over the internet, or by cheque sent by post and payable to C A Brown. Instructions for online payment will be provided when we confirm your booking.
13) No liability howsoever arising shall attach to the proprietor
from the use of any facilities on the site.
14) All insurances on the caravans, tents and accompanying vehicles
shall be in force for the duration of the booking
15) The booking shall be governed by the laws of England The
statutory rights of the parties as consumers are not altered or
overridden by these terms and conditions.
16) Please note that our caravan and camping facilities are only
available to Camping and Caravanning Club members.
